We are pleased to share official data showing the substantial gains in academic achievement within the Caldwell County Schools. This is a testimony to the strong commitment of our highly qualified educators and the tremendous support from dedicated parents, community volunteers and businesses in Caldwell County. I feel honored and privileged to be a part of a school system that is highly regarded throughout the state of North Carolina for its innovative programs.

With the involvement of parents combined with the efforts of more than 1,800 dedicated employees in the school system, the academic achievement of students has improved and will continue to increase. We have and will continue to surpass statewide educational standards as we teach and encourage our students to learn and interact on a global scale.

Overwhelmingly, parents support our high expectations of students and educators. Volunteers contributed more than 70,500 volunteer hours last year. Caldwell County parents believe in the basic principle that when they are involved in their child’s education in positive ways, their children achieve higher, attend school more often, are better behaved and are better prepared for the future. We welcome parent support and encourage parents, grandparents and community supporters, such as the 60 active school-business partners currently in place, to be involved in the Caldwell County Schools.
